The Under Water Sensor Network Lab (UWSN Lab) in the Computer Science & Engineering Department at the University of Connecticut is led by Prof. Jun-Hong Cui and Prof. Shengli Zhou. Our research efforts cover a wide range of topics in underwater networks, including efficient acoustic communications, acoustic modems and modulation, medium access control, routing and forwarding, reliable data transfer, prototypes and testbeds, localization and synchronization, modeling and simulations, security and robustness, network planning and deployment.
